[OPEN] Party Post!
HERE'S THE DEAL, GUYS.
I'm going to post several thread openers as replies to this post. They'll have headers like an opener discussed in RP 101 Part 2, except without the "Who" because they're all open to everyone. Once I've posted the thread opener, you guys will RP in "sub-threads"--basically, threads within a thread. Make sure to click "reply to this" not "post a new comment." (DON'T GET STRESSED OUT--IT'S JUST THE TERMINOLOGY THAT'S COMPLICATED. THE ACTUAL PLAYING ISN'T.)
It'll work something like
bakerstreet RPing, so you can look there for examples. Here's one example that gives you a good idea how it works... Generally, there will be back and forth between two characters in each sub-thread, and if another character wants to jump in, they'll do so in a separate sub-thread so it doesn't get confusing.
Stuff that happens here can either be used as backstory building for the relationship of your characters or COMPLETELY practice that won't affect the main RP when it gets started--that's up to you and your RP partners.
REMEMBER, THE GOAL IS TO HAVE FUN, so don't stress yourself out! Nothing has to be perfect. No one's going to judge you.
If you have any questions, shoot me an ask or, if you want, my AIM SN is PouffAboutTown, and I'm always happy to talk to any of you.

Re: [OPEN] Trapped
He looked to the right and saw someone else lying on the floor. He immediately stopped making noise, although it probably hadn't helped, considering how much noise he had made before.
The person lying on the floor had dark brown hair and was obviously a woman. Two names popped into his head. It was either Jessica or Sarah.
'Or neither,' he thought to himself. His headache soon returned, and he sat motionless, not even willing to risk lying down.
Re: [OPEN] Trapped
Jessica held her breath and squeezed her eyes shut, waiting for something horrible to happen. But all she could feel was an overbearing presence taking extreme notice of her. It didn't seem to be growling anymore. She carefully let out her breath and waited for... something. Anything other than the silence pressing down on her.
After five minutes, she started questioning whether she actually heard anything at all or if she'd been imagining the sounds. Taking a breath and closing her eyes again, she croaked out, "Whatever you're gonna do, just-- just do it."

(Anonymous) 2013-08-09 03:31 am (UTC)(link)He was silent for a little longer. Then, he said, "I'm not exactly in any position to hurt anyone right now. I don't see a need for it at the moment, anyways." His voice was rough, like it hadn't been used in weeks.
Alex pondered his situation for a moment. If she was worse off than him, then he could possibly use that to his advantage. If she was doing better than him, he would have to be careful about not showing how weak he was just then.
